Next-generation central I/O module
The SpaceLogic Central I/O Module connects directly to the SpaceLogic AS-P Server to provide input and output points for the centralized control of large mechanical systems in a plant or equipment room. Working with the automation server as part of a modular system, it delivers power and communications on a common bus for scalable custom configurations.
Benefits of SpaceLogic Central I/O Module
- Flexible
Supports scalable custom configurations that can be tailored to specific buildings plant room control needs without significant reconfiguration. - Comprehensive
Offers a wide range of input and output point mixes that help to meet application requirements and adapt to changing control needs. - Simple
Makes installation easier with plug-and-play functionality and direct connection to the automation server, minimizing installation costs, labor and deployment time.
Features
Versatile models
- Seventeen standard models with versatile onboard I/O point mix for a wide range of applications.
- All models are UL 864 smoke control-compliant for use in smoke control systems.
- Up to 32 modules can be connected to one automation server.
Engineering efficiency- The patented two-piece design allows site wiring with the terminal base before installation of the electronics.
- The input and output terminals of each module are accessible for maintenance without removing the module from its terminal base.
- Auto addressing of the modules eliminates the need for DIP switches and commission buttons on the modules, which significantly reduces engineering and maintenance time.
Continuous control- Modules are designed to be hot-connectable to the terminal base and hot-swappable to ensure continuous power and communication during service operations.
Precise monitoring and control- Input modules use 16-bit analog to digital converters for high-precision control applications.
- Output modules include Hand/Off/Auto (HOA) switches to provide override control of the outputs.
- The position of the HOA switch can be read through the EcoStruxure Building Operation WorkStation software, enabling more precise monitoring and control.
