Iron Family Group Generation 2

Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Industry, held a meeting with the "Generation 2 Steel Family Group" to discuss ways to promote and enhance the competitiveness of the Thai steel industry. Mr. Asadaporn Kraipanont, Advisor to the Minister of Industry, and other executives from the Ministry of Industry also participated in the meeting at the Ministry of Industry.
The key issues discussed included:
• Upgrading quality and standards: Promoting the competitiveness of Thai producers internationally and supporting consumers' access to high-safety products.
• Combating substandard steel: Preventing the import of cheap, unsubstantiated steel to protect Thai businesses and ensure public safety.
• Promoting consumer use of standardized products: Ensuring safety, which will benefit the overall national economy.
